Description
Hot Racing optional tuning spring set for dual spring coilover shocks on the 1/8 Axial Yeti XL
- Double spring system provides a soft response at the beginning of the stroke for smaller bumps (tender spring) and an increased stiffness at larger
-compression to handle larger jumps (main spring). Together, the tender and main springs allow the suspension to keep contact with the surface during terrain irregularities and provide tuning options to reduce body roll during cornering and squat and dive during acceleration and braking.
- Steel construction, with three colors indicating stiffness (see specifications)
- Kit allows 9 combinations of springs
- Two (2) soft tender springs (blue)
- Two (2) medium tender springs (chrome)

- Tender Springs:
- 40mm long, 23mm ID
- Blue: 10 coil, 1.4mm wire, 1.7 lb/in
- Chrome: 8 coil, 1.7mm wire, 5.2 lb/in
- Red tender springs, 11 coil, 2.0mm wire, 7.6 lb/in
- Main springs:
- 70mm long, 23mm ID
- Blue: 14 coil, 1.5mm wire, 1.7 lb/in
- Red: 12 coil, 1.7mm wire, 3.3 lb/in
- Chrome: 12 coil, 2.0mm wire, 5.6 lb/in
