The Tamiya Toyota Celica LB Turbo Gr.5 is a 1/20 scale plastic model kit recreating the Group 5 race car that competed in the 1977 German Racing Championship (DRM). This is a reissue of the original 1978 Item 20009, now offered as a static display model with updated Cartograf decals and solid synthetic rubber slick tires. The kit captures the Celica's aggressive silhouette with bulging overfenders, rear wing, and detailed renderings of the 2,090cc, 560hp inline-4 DOHC turbo engine visible through a removable front cowl.
