1/25 1958 Edsel AWB Funny Car Unreal Plastic Model Kit

This kit is an Edsel!? Its AMTs tongue-in-cheek spoof of early altered wheelbase funny cars. Fun and easy to build all from new tooling. Any modeler with moderate experience will enjoy this project! The Kats at AMT concocted the craziest combination they could think of: a 58 Edsel body mounted on an altered wheelbase drag chassis! For this special recreation of the original kit, the entire model was retooled from the ground up. But this time, the rear wheel wells of the Edsel body were moved forward to a proper altered wheelbase position. Therefore, you dont need to use the fender skirts if you dont want to! All the kooky accessories are present: outhouse door front bumper, busted side ladder, skirts and mud flaps. Decals were carefully recreated and expanded. The amusing new box harkens back to the original kit in a paper bag packaging! Get your wheels up!
