HPI Racing WR8 Flux 1996 Ford Escort RS Cosworth (160558) is a 1:8 scale 4WD electric ready-to-run rally car wearing an officially licensed replica of the Escort RS Cosworth in its Repsol livery from the 1996 San Remo Rally. The WR8 Flux chassis is derived from HPI's Bullet monster truck, so under the rally body sits a 3mm aluminum chassis, full-time shaft-driven 4WD, metal 4-gear oil-filled differentials, and a full set of rubber-sealed ball bearings, a drivetrain built to take abuse on dirt or tarmac. A 3700kv brushless motor and waterproof 2S-3S ESC give it speed HPI rates at over 60 mph, and this release adds a factory-installed warm-white LED lighting system with headlights, tail lights, and brake lights run by the new TF-51 radio's integrated light controller. A battery and charger are not included.
